No, the star sightings from Quilt Market are not yet over! I found Anna Maria Horner sitting in her beautifully decorated booth. Naturally, it was decorated with fabrics from her new line. Be sure to check out Anna's fabrics. She is a genius with color. Her color choices and design choices are unexpected, vintage and fresh, all at the same time. Her blog is full of stories of her home life in Tennessee with her husband and five -- yes five -- children. And apparently, another is on the way!
I had corresponded with her in email before Market, so I already knew she was a really warm and sweet person. Yes, that came through even in email! I showed my portfolio to Anna, too. I was pleased that she really took the time to look through my book and really see and understand what I was doing. She really liked my color sense and gave me some great advice on color and scale.
It was such a pleasure to meet Anna Maria in person. Check out her blog and let the sunshine in!

I loved that link to the photos of her booth. I love the colours Anna-Maria uses (I mean as well as everything). Anna-Maria has that inner-childlike ability to throw caution to the wind and create what's in her heart.
